Jennifer has 35 years of experience in the metal health field. Early in her career she worked with adolescent populations in several settings including residential behavior treatment, chemical dependency treatment, shelter, and corrections. She then moved to working with adults in both out patient & residential chemical dependency programming and also ran a family week program in the residential program. She spent 24 years at a rural mental health center in East Central Minnesota. Over the years in this setting she developed strong skills working with general clinical and & SPMI populations. She developed & and provided anger management, domestic violence, & sexual abuse victim and offender programming. She was a clinical supervisor of student interns, Crisis Services, Children's' and Adults' Case Managers, & the Community Support Program.
Since 2013 Jennifer has been in private practice as a Psychologist & Chemical Dependency Counselor
Jennifer is skilled in NLP, Hypnosis, and Past Life Regression Therapy as well as traditional talk therapy. She is registered with the Board of Behavioral Health as a provider of supervision for students and practitioners working toward licensure.

SARA MODEC, BAS, BA, AA, MFT, GRADUATE INTERN
Sara has 22 years experience in the mental health field. She has served youth in both mental health and restorative justice settings. She has also provided support to adults in a geriatric residential setting. Sara has worked toward healing the effects of domestic violence in a traditionally-informed circle format. She has 12 years experience working for and with people with developmental differences and mental healthcare needs in both residential and community settings. In addition to her direct service, Sara has worked in mental health care administration.
Sara has been serving as an graduate level intern counselor at Psycnsew Creations since October of 2015. She is completing her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is excited to be officially joining Psycnsew Creations.
Sara specializes in individual and relational counseling including couples and families of all types. Her counseling style includes systems-informed, solution-focused, narrative, emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioral and art therapies, among others.
